Burgundy’s other white grape doesn’t get it’s due. We love Aligoté for the light citrusy wines that it produces. The drier it gets, the more minerally too.
This 2023 Potter Valley Aligoté marks our first harvest from vines that we planted in 2020. Harvested on Sept. 14th at 21.3 ̊ brix, grapes were whole cluster pressed and fermented in a concrete egg and one new French half barrel then left in egg for 9 months before being transferred to neutral barrels for the last 2 months of aging. 100% Malo complete.
